Visual/Oral Presentations
This internal assessment is worth 3 Credits and requires you to deliver a persuasive speech using visual and oral techniques. Below are some resources that will aid your preparation.
As you complete the tasks or view the presentations, try to identify the visual and oral techniques that are being used. From speeches trying to motivate a team for a big game, persuading a nation to change its values, readying an army for battle, to preparing a country for war, rhetorical devices and persuasive techniques are essential for an effective presentation. Evaluate which techniques you feel are the most important and ensure that you use similar techniques in your own work.
