The fantasy genre is one that people either love or hate. What are your feelings of this type of story and why?
Do you identify with any of the central characters in the films that come into the 'Through the Looking Glass' theme - Dorothy in 'Wizard of Oz', Sarah in 'Labyrinth', Percy in 'Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief', or any other? What aspects of their character do you recognise in yourself?
I think that "Skeleton Creek" is one of the most original texts for Juniors that I have seen in a long time. The mixture of journal entries and video diary bring the novel to life and add to the dramatic effect of whether or not the dredge is haunted by the ghost of Old Joe Bush. How do you rate it?
Which Baz Luhrmann film would you rather study - "Romeo + Juliet" or "Strictly Ballroom"? We have had a look at a range of Shakespeare's plays in the form of the 'Animated Tales of Shakespeare'. Which play was your favourite and why?
We have looked at 'Millions' and 'Son of Rambow' that both revolve around the theme of Family and Friends. Who do you think has the biggest infulence on us as individuals - our family or our friends?
Performance Capture is a revolutionary film making technique and is the future of film making. Without having to pay to travel to expensive locations for filming it is a cheap way of making films. Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg are also big fans of the technique and are using it to film the new Tintin films to be released next year. Do you think that all films will be made this way in the future?
